Soft Grip - Filbert - #4 White Nylon Bristles

A Filbert is a cross between a round and a flat brush. The curved (oval) tip allows the artist to use it for soft brushwork and blending techniques.

The white bristles allow for the brush to be used with the same color over again as it will not lose the color. Unless a brush was used with someting other than dry dusting, it does not need to be cleaned each time it is used if the same color is used with that brush.

The filbert can be used with gumpaste for a soft edge of color or turn it onto it's side t bring in more color to resemble the veined in a petal. the filbert used with Royal Icing brush embroidery can be used as a flat brush and then turn it on it's side to bring in more icing for the veining appearance.
