🧁 Using a basketweave piping tip (such as Wilton #47 or #48) for realistic texture

How to Create a Buttercream Basket Weave

1️⃣ Prepare Your Cake – Cover the cake with a smooth crumb coat of buttercream to create a stable base.
2️⃣ Use a Basketweave Tip – Fill a piping bag with buttercream and attach a basketweave piping tip for precise texture.
3️⃣ Pipe Vertical Lines – Start by piping evenly spaced vertical lines as a base for the weave.
4️⃣ Add Horizontal Weaving – Pipe short horizontal lines across each vertical line, alternating sections to create a woven effect.
