Need to make grossgrain ribbon. Roll out your fondant slightly thicker than you want your ribbon (or use a paste machine set to 4). Then roll this pin across the surface and it will emboss the ribbed pattern into your ribbon. Cut to size and width desired.

For smocking simply roll out your paste then roll over with this pin. Use tweezers to crimp the ridges together.
