Clear Acrylic Cake Icing Disk

These disks are meant to fit a cake for icing the sides easily.  The disk measures .5" larger than the cake size which leaves about .25" all the way around the cake.

Ice the sides of your cake with buttercream icing. Place the disk on top. Use an icing scraper with a flat edge flush with your base board and the top straight up and down next to the disk.  Spin your cake on the turntable while holding the scraper next to the disk.  This gives you a very straignt side with the same amount of icing all the way around.

This is also great if you are using a designed side scraper. Smooth first with the plain side of the scraper then turn to the design and do it again. The design side of the scraper will leave that design in the icing on the side.

Clear Acrylic Cake Disk with Center Hole

This plate can be used as a base plate for icing your cake or it can become the base circle for your cake. The hole is already centered for the insertion of the center dowel.

The "H" behind the Stock Number designates it has a hole in the center.
