Fancy the idea of learning to make ice-cream-like desserts at home without the need for any churning machine?
In this class, I will teach the most recent techniques to create modern Italian Semifreddi, or frozen entremets, which are basically a sort of layered ice-cream cake with a softer texture that are ready to eat right away from the freezer thanks to their less agressvive temperature (semifreddo literally means half-frozen). A typical and tradtional Italian poduct, modern semifreddi have assumed the charming and appealing aesthetic and structure of mirror glazedentremets, but can be shaped in every way and this class we are going to focus on semifreddi on sicks, cones and take-away semifreddi in a jar.
Also in this class, I will teach everyone to make their own Mirror Glaze which is specific to frozen desserts, but can also be used on other non-frozen desserts as well. Better than the pre-made.
Recipes are included for everyone to take wih them and some semifreddo to take home. (Unless you eat it all before you leave!)
Lunch will be provided.
Bring a cooler with ice for your take home semifreddos. All other Supplies are Included.
