Flowers with Hearty Clay
In this class, students learn the basics of working with Hearty Clay. Hearty Clay is a non-toxic product that can be used on your cake. Working with Hearty Clay is different from working with Gumpaste. Dried flowers can be dropped without breaking and look very real when completed. Students will use a combination of cutters and Flower Pro Veining Molds, designed by Nicholas Lodge and Katy Sue Designs in England, to complete the project.
Each student will make two types of Iris Flowers along with Silver Dollar Eucalyptus sprigs, berries and a stem of Fern Fronds. Each flower and leaf will be dusted with Petal Dust and then woven onto a wooden ring for display on a cake. All Supples included for your use during class. You take home what you make. Supplies are available for purchase should you desire.
Please bring something for lunch as there will not be enough time to leave.
Please Note: Cancellation of a class must be two weeks before the class or there are no refunds or class changes if cancelled after that time frame. If you transfer from one date to another, there will be no refund. Only one move to a new date will be allowed.
