Description: This course will cover tools and equipment, preparing the cake, crumb coating the cake, covering the cake. Students will cover 2 cakes - one real cake and one cake dummy.

Students will learn how to decorate fondant cakes using borders, various drapes, brush embroidery, ruffles, lace and pearls.

We supply the cake and icing for this course. The student will learn to construct this cake using buttercream icing, as well as fondant. The technique of crumb coating the cake before applying the fondant covering will also be taught. We will also provide candy clay and teach students how to make decorations with this medium.
